Commercial Lease Law Insider Named Best Real Estate Newsletter

On June 20, Commercial Lease Law Insider received the Gold Award for Best Newsletter from the National Association of Real Estate Editors (NAREE). A panel of expert judges from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University selected the award winners announced at NAREE’s annual conference in Austin last week, from a record number of entries.

The judges commented, “This newsletter gives people in the commercial property industry specific information they’re unlikely to easily find elsewhere.” The judges singled out the February 2023 issue on electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in which editor Glenn S. Demby explained the difference between the two main types of stations and “the pros and cons to the ‘site host’ owning and operating the stations vs. leasing them to a third party who installs them and takes care of them. This newsletter also looks at recent court rulings – also highly relevant to people in a litigious industry.”
