Property Owner Favors Medical Leasing

A mental healthcare provider, which offers a range of clinical services for children, their families, and adults, is taking over 2,000 square feet of office space in Raleigh, N.C., formerly leased by a hair salon. According to Rankin Commercial Properties, the salon recently was evicted after filing for bankruptcy protection.

The new tenant will be K.E.Y.S. LLC, which stands for Keep Everything in Your Site. Rankin Commercial Properties partially owns and manages the property in Raleigh. “While we regret the eviction of the previous tenant, the new tenant falls in line with our leasing objectives for the property in bringing in more professional users to the property, particularly in the medical industry,” said Charles Rankin, president and CEO.

Since owning this property, Rankin has released approximately 20,000 square feet. “The property was extremely distressed when we acquired it in mid-2008, and I am extremely pleased with our success in turning it around,” added Rankin.
