Make Lease Definitions Easier to Locate
When drafting your leases, put all definitions of lease terms in one place, such as a glossary at the front of the lease or an index. This should help make your leases easier to read and understand.
If you don't organize the lease's definitions, you'll force those who read the lease to sift through page after page, looking for them. And disorganized definitions can lead to lease ambiguities; you might lose track of what has been defined and then inadvertently define the same term again or leave out a definition entirely. Putting definitions at the front of leases or in an index helps avoid those pitfalls.
