Fifth Largest Office Building Sale in Europe

Deloitte House—a newly constructed Class A office building located in the central business district of Warsaw, Poland—has been sold to Deka Immoblien, a German-based international investment management firm, for euro 117 million. The sale by property owner Skanska is being called the largest Central and Eastern European transaction of 2009.

Colliers International represented Skanska and is also the property management company for the fully leased building. Skanska and Deka reached a preliminary sale agreement in September 2008. The sale ranks as the fifth largest office sale in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in 2009 to date.

Originally called Atrium City, the building was renamed Deloitte House when the accounting firm signed on as the anchor tenant.
